Shipping and Return Policy - High Falls Outfitters
Canada Post Strike Update
Due to the possible Canada Post strike, we will not be shipping orders through Canada Post until further notice. We are using alternative carriers to ensure timely delivery.
If your address is a PO Box or Rural Route, we will contact you to discuss options. We reserve the right to cancel or delay any orders that the Canada Post strike may impact. We appreciate your understanding and continued support during this time.
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
High Falls Outfitters may require picture proof of delivery for certain orders. If you, the customer, wish to have your order shipped with a Signature Required option, it is your responsibility to email customerservice@tackledepot.ca and receive written acknowledgment from us before your order is shipped. Signature requests made after an order has been processed may not be accommodated.
We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages in the possession of the shipping company or customer.
Items can also be returned in-store.
To receive a full refund an original sales receipt must accompany items.
If you do not have a receipt you will be issued a gift card for the value of the current lowest price for that item.
Item Return Guidelines
Firearms - After inspection by a qualified gunsmith, High Falls Outfitters will, at their discretion, replace or repair the firearm within 30 days. After 30 days, it is solely the manufacturer who provides any warranty.
Bows - Bows cannot be returned. If you received a defective bow you may exchange it within the first 30 days. After 30 days High Falls Outfitters will assist you with manufacturers warranty claims.
Ammunition, Powder, Primers, and Propellants - Due to safety these items are not eligible for any returns or exchanges.
Arrows - Any arrows or arrow shafts that have been altered (ie, cut, custom fletched, inserts installed) cannot be returned.
Base layers and Underwear - Due to sanitary and health concerns, these items cannot be returned.
Electronics - Must be returned in their original packaging and must have all manuals, documents, and accessories.
Optics - Must be returned in their original packaging. After 30 days optics will need to be returned to the manufacturer.
Clothing and Apparel - All clothing and apparel must be returned with original tags and not seen significant wear. Manufacturers defects are eligible for exchange and any claims outside of 30 days will need to be with the manufacturer.
Other Restrictions - Other restrictions and conditions may apply for returns. Please contact us for more information about specific product return policies.
You should expect to receive your refund within three weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in most cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (1to 2 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days). It is highly recommended to use tracking and insurance for any returns.
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
SHIPPING
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
Most items take 2-10 days for delivery depending on customer location.
Many items offer free shipping options.
All orders are tracked and insured.
All firearms, ammunition, powder, and binary target orders must have the shipping address match the address on the customer's PAL number. The shipping address cannot be a PO Box for certain items.
