The Browning Maxus II Stalker is all business when it comes to bringing down geese or breaking clays at the range. Lightweight and sleek, the Maxus II Stalker is designed to be soft-shooting with little perceived recoil. The Maxus II Stalker shotgun uses the Power Drive gas system. The Power Drive gas system piston retains gas pressure for light loads and bleeds off excess pressure in heavy loads which allows for the use a variety of shotgun ammunition from 2-3/4" to 3" shells. Reduced recoil means faster follow-up shots and increased comfort during a long day of shooting. The Lightning trigger is very smooth with minimal over travel and faster reset. A ramped trigger guard guides shells into the loading port for faster reloads. The charging handle and bolt release have been enhanced for smoother operation. The Inflex recoil pad and Softflex cheekpad reduce perceived recoil and provide additional comfort while shooting. The Maxus II Stalker is dressed for water-fowl hunting with a matte blued barrel, black receiver, and a matte black stock. The chrome lined barrel and brushed nickel Teflon finished bolt and bolt slide can resist harsh and wet bird hunting conditions. Three Invector-Plus chokes in full, modified, and improved cylinder will let you match your shot pattern to the hunting conditions. The Maxus II is a reliable and functional shotgun that proudly upholds the Browning tradition.
